For high performers on empty
You're burnt out. And you can't admit it.
From the outside you are winning. Inside, you are running on fumes and hiding it, because somewhere along the way you became what you produce, and now rest feels like losing yourself. I help high performers find the self underneath the output, so recovery stops feeling like failure and starts being the thing that keeps you in the game.
It's not weakness
When you are what you produce, rest feels like disappearing.
The trap is quiet and it is built into how you got here. Your worth got fused to your output. So when your body asks for rest, every instinct reads it as a threat, slow down and you might lose your edge, your status, your sense of who you are. So you override it. Again and again, until override stops working.
That is not a character flaw. It is a nervous system that learned to equate stillness with danger, and a high achiever who got very good at ignoring it. The way out is not to care less about performance. It is to build a foundation underneath it, so you can recover without feeling like you are vanishing, and perform from fullness instead of fear.
How it shows up
If two of these are you, we should talk.
Rest feels like failure
A day off comes with guilt, not relief. Stillness makes you anxious, so you fill it, and you never actually recover.
Winning, joylessly
You hit the goal and feel nothing, just the next target. The wins stopped landing a while ago and you have not let yourself notice.
Hiding the empty
Everyone thinks you are thriving. You are managing the gap between how you look and how you feel, and that gap is its own full-time job.
The model stopped working
Push harder, extract more, the formula that built your success is now the thing draining it, and you do not have another one.
The method
Perform from fullness. The R.A.C.E. Framework.
The four-phase method from the book and behind The Unbroken Protocol, applied to a life built on output.
Recover — teach the nervous system that stillness is safe again. Sleep, HRV, and real rest, without the guilt.
Align — reconnect performance to something underneath it, so your worth is not riding on the next result.
Condition — train capacity, not just output, so you can carry load without it carrying you.
Execute — perform from a full tank, with systems that do not depend on you running on empty.
Extraction is why you are breaking. The answer was never more. You do not perform your way to recovery. You recover your way to performance, and to a version of it you can actually live inside.
Questions
Before you reach out.
Why does slowing down feel like failing?
Because your worth got fused to your output. If you are what you produce, rest feels like disappearing. The work is to build a self underneath the performance, so recovery stops feeling like loss.
I'm still delivering. Am I really burnt out?
High-functioning burnout is real. You can hit every number while running on empty, because you are exceptional at overriding the signals. The cost shows up as joylessness and dread long before the output drops.
Is this therapy or coaching?
Coaching, not therapy. We work with your physiology, your identity around performance, and your systems. If you need clinical support, Abraham will say so.
What does it cost?
The first conversation is a free coffee, in London or online. Coaching runs in three monthly tiers; Abraham recommends the right level after, no pitch.
Start with a coffee. On me.
In London or online. We talk about where you are stuck, you get a preliminary R.A.C.E. read on where your system actually is, and you walk away with a clearer next step. No pitch, no performance required.
